the above video i think relates to the end of the mayan calendar concept. That young people are articulating everything that is wrong with the current paradigm - and if they all don't articulate it as well as these 2, they instinctly feel it.
the mayan long count has been counting from 3114 B.C. roughly the time of 'modern' human civilization. Could be that the whole paradigm of growth, technological advancement etc. is not only being called into question, but is about to fail.

  2. re: counts - i've been thinking the market needs to complete a second zig zag up from 1215 - and finish the C leg above 1292 for a new high. I'm thinking we're in the A leg and it should fall short of 1292 resistance before the B leg begins. This market is crazy though, we'll see. I'm looking forward to what I anticipate to be Minor 3 to come after the second zig zag.

  3. We are using different fractals for counting the waves.

Though it is possible to count 3 waves from 1075 to 1292. Market can certainly make a high above 1292, and turn it into a double "three".

Elliott correctly called them "complex" corrections. For one, it is nearly impossible to know if it will be a single, double or triple "three".

While we are talking double zigzag, have you considered the possibility that P2 itself could be a double zigzag?

  4. I have considered P2 as a double zig zag because you have presented it. It will be more important, obviously, if/when the big X wave finishes.

You're right - I know we must be looking at different forms. The complex corrections of Elliott went a bit over my head - I'm lost trying to follow that way for now. Just trying to stay with what is working for me for now - don't want to risk added confusion.

  5. I think it is important to correctly understand the concept of complex correction.
I realised where Prechter had messed up, only in September.
    Better late than never.

In its simplest form consider that in a WXYXZ , each of the W, Y and Z can be wxy in itself, and not just simple abc's.

That explains why the (5) of P1 down looks like a 3-wave instead of a 5-wave impulse.
And also why we got 7-waves leading upto May high instead of 5.
Even that overlap in wave 3 of A of P2.
It is actually a 7-wave complex correction

Have a look at my higher degrees count, and you will begin to see what is the issue here.

I know that 5-3-5 ABC corrective counts are much easier to understand, but mostly because thatz what we read first. Even Elliott proposed Complex corrections only in his final publication.
